Intern - Finance - Plymouth, MN – Summer 2027

Join Philips as a Finance Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting high-impact business decisions in a global MedTech company focused on improving people’s lives. In this paid, 3-month Summer 2027 internship, you will work onsite at our Plymouth, Minnesota location and gain meaningful exposure to corporate finance, business partnering, analytics, and strategic planning in the fast-growing MedTech industry.

Your role:

• Support strategic finance projects connected to the Annual Operating Plan and key business priorities

• Analyze revenue, profitability, spending, and business performance trends to identify actionable insights

• Partner with finance mentors and business stakeholders to develop decision-support materials and recommendations

• Use Excel, PowerPoint, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, analysis, and process efficiency

• You will work independently with guidance from a finance mentor and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

• You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, business analytics, or a related field

• You are curious, analytical, and eager to learn how finance supports business strategy and decision-making

• You are passionate about making a difference in patients’ lives and gaining valuable experience in a fast-growing MedTech environment

• You have strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and experience using Excel and PowerPoint

• You are interested in using AI, automation, and data tools to improve analysis, reporting, and decision-making

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is an office role.

Philips Transparency Details

The hourly pay range for this position is $24.00 to $27.00, plus overtime eligible. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.

Company relocation benefits will not be provided for this position. For this position, you must reside in or within commuting distance to Plymouth, MN.
