Cloud Network Sr Engineer

Overview

PepsiCo Global Cloud Foundation Engineering is seeking an experienced Multi-Cloud Network Engineer to design, document, and operationalize enterprise-scale cloud network infrastructure across Azure, AWS, GCP, and private cloud environments. 

 

The role translates high-level architecture into implementation-ready low-level design (LLD), drives delivery of new network capabilities, and provides Level 3 support for a large, complex global cloud foundation.

Responsibilities

 

• Create and maintain global cloud network low-level design documentation across Azure, AWS, GCP, and private cloud.
• Translate high-level architecture into implementation-ready designs under the guidance of the Cloud Network Architect.
• Lead implementation of new cloud network designs, enhancements, and reusable patterns.
• Create and publish cloud network technology standards for consistent enterprise adoption.
• Partner with S&T teams, managed service providers, and vendors to evaluate services and track industry trends.
• Ensure designs meet business and security requirements while providing knowledge transfer and Level 3 support.

 

 

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT technology experience, including 3+ years of deep public cloud network infrastructure experience at enterprise scale. Private Cloud is added advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Networking:

• Azure: ExpressRoute, VNET, Hub-and-Spoke, BGP, UDR, Private Link, private endpoints, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• AWS: Direct Connect, Cloud WAN, VPC, PrivateLink, Palo Alto and route tables.
• GCP: Cloud Interconnect, Shared VPC, Private Service Connect, and VPC Service Controls.
• Micro-segmentation, Palo Alto firewall, NSG and AWS Security groups
• Experience in CNI

Non-Technical Skills:

• Technical leadership with strong oral and written communication skills to influence peers and senior management.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and coordination skills.
• Logical, creative, and analytical thinking; fast learner; willing to coach others; able to manage priorities effectively.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Azure AZ-700 or AZ-305.
• AWS Advanced Networking – Specialty or AWS Solutions Architect Professional.
• Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer or Google Professional Cloud Architect.

Compensation and Benefits:

• The expected starting compensation range for this position is 231,000 PLN annually.
• Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
• This role is eligible for an annual bonus of 15% of annual salary, based on performance and eligibility.
