Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Manager Respiratory Therapy, you will be a dynamic leader, guiding and empowering our team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care through in our Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Services.
Every day, you will lead and mentor team members, oversee operations, and advocate for patient and team needs, driving professional development and achieving unit goals.
To be successful in this role, you will embody accountability and confidence with superior communication skills for all interactions. You'll skillfully navigate challenges, ensuring individual performance and overall operations of the respiratory care department success.
- Has the authority to interview, hire, orient, terminate, promote, train and conduct performance evaluations
- Develops and impenments strategies in operational improvements and/or new services consistent with organizational strategic and business development planning.
- Manages existing programs, as well as program development, implementation of new respiratory programs andassessment/revision of existing programs in keeping with a changing health care environment.
- Licensing/regulatory standards; department policies; and service needs of the facility.
- Monitors and oversee customer and patient engagement, growth, quality initiatives and patient safety for multiple departments, utilizing regulatory and organizational knowledge and policy for multiple areas as separate functions
Job Requirements
Required:
Bachelor's in Respiratory Therapy and minimum of five (5) years experience in the field. Or Master's with two (2) years supervisory experience.
