What you'll be doing:
Lead General Ledger and period‑close system enablement, ensuring alignment with accounting standards, controls, and reporting requirements
Provide oversight of transfer pricing, intercompany accounting, costing, and valuation system enablement, partnering with Tax, Controllership, and Finance policy owners to ensure compliance and scalability
Own posting logic, valuation, and revaluation processes (including AAIs, FX, and inventory valuation), ensuring accuracy and compliance
Enable and maintain legal entity structures and finance hierarchies within finance systems
Oversee close-critical interfaces, dependencies, and systemic risks across finance domains, ensuring end-to-end data integrity and operational resilience throughout the financial close cycle
Act as the highest FAST functional escalation point for issues impacting financial close, statutory reporting, audit outcomes, or regulatory compliance, driving resolution of complex cross-functional issues
Provide L2 support and escalation management for issues impacting close integrity, financial reporting, or audit outcomes
Conduct functional analysis, impact assessment, and validation of fixes to ensure system changes do not disrupt close processes
Lead executive communications, providing clear visibility of risks, dependencies, system health, and strategic recommendations to senior finance and business stakeholders
Provide functional leadership and coaching to FAST Leads across multiple finance domains without formal people management responsibility
Depending on assignment, a FAST Analyst may be accountable for one or more of the following domains:
Accounting to Report (A2R / Close): GL, close, valuation, FX, intercompany, transfer pricing, and costing system enablement
Procure to Pay (P2P): AP, accruals, liabilities, and P2P related close dependencies
Order to Cash (O2C): AR, billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue impacting configurations
Finance Master Data Enablement: Enablement and control of finance relevant attributes (e.g., GL structures, accounting attributes, reference data) aligned to Enterprise MDM standards
SOX & Controls: Finance application security, access, segregation of duties, and audit support
What you'll bring:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
8–12 years of experience in finance systems, JDE enablement, or finance transformation roles
Strong Accounting-to-Report (A2R) expertise, including general ledger, period close, intercompany, reconciliations, and financial reporting dependencies
Hands-on experience with JDE finance configuration, including posting logic, valuations, finance structures, AAIs, FX, costing, and inventory valuation
Ability to support close-critical processes while maintaining audit readiness, SOX compliance, and strong internal controls
Proven experience in L2 support, issue triage, root-cause analysis, impact assessment, and defect resolution for finance systems
Clear communication skills to explain financial and system impacts to Finance, IT, Data, Controls, and senior stakeholders
Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams during issue resolution, change validation, close readiness, and system stabilization
Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to simplify posting logic, reduce manual adjustments, and prevent recurring issues
High attention to accuracy, data integrity, financial governance, and reliable system performance under close-cycle pressure
Experience driving knowledge transfer, documentation, operating discipline, and continuous improvement in global, matrixed environments
