Job summary:
The Associate Account Manager role is to facilitate the work of the account team assigned to a set group of clients by project-managing and communicating with internal service teams to produce work on time and within budget. Associate Account Manager's assist with routine status reports, project plans, scope and budget monitoring, and monthly billings to drive agency activities, profitability, and inform the client. High standards for accuracy and professionalism are expected.
Let’s talk job responsibilities:
- Meeting preparation: creates agendas, ensures work is ready from agency team, prepares discussion documents, chronicles decisions and action items into a conference report
• Develops project plans, timelines, status reports for internal and client needs
• Interfaces with clients as required by Account Manager or Supervisor
• Assists the Account Manager or Account Supervisor in developing estimates for work, managing monthly billing in conjunction with Accounting department and Account Manager/Supervisor
• Handles logistical arrangements for client meetings and internal team meetings
• Manages the work flow of team projects to/from service departments
• Develops proficiency in understanding the clients’ brand guidelines, project background, and other details; proofs documents and versions before moving them to the next stage
• Other core responsibilities include preparation of client needs for Operations/Service areas, participation in preparation of materials for promotional planning, new business presentations and special projects
• Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills:
2-4 years of agency experience
• Basic understanding of marketing and advertising terms and processes
• Must be organized and administratively excellent in handling projects and communication.
• Good grammar and spelling skills
• Highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe documents for mark up
