Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Manufacturing Operations Analyst (Level 3) to support the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) in San Antonio, TX!

The ideal candidate will have highly analytical and results-driven manufacturing operations experience, along with extensive experience supporting complex aerospace and defense programs. The proven ability to assess production performance, identify operational inefficiencies, and implement data-driven solutions that improve schedule adherence, process flow, and cost performance are crucial. B-52 is a high-visibility program with strict compliance, safety, and documentation requirements, strong expertise in manufacturing metrics, root cause analysis, process improvement, and program execution in support of mission-critical platforms is ideal.

Position Responsibilities – Experienced Level 3:

  • Support daily resolution of production constraints and escalate issues as needed
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help maintain workflow and schedule performance
  • Support multiple Line Side Control Centers (LSCC) by tracking and communicating constraint status
  • Research parts, engineering details, and other information needed to identify and resolve constraints
  • Review future schedules and attend line-by-line meetings to help identify and communicate potential constraints
  • Participate in Tier meetings as required
  • Use the Ship Side Action Tracker (SAT) to track and monitor constraints
  • Assist with the development and implementation of site processes and procedures
  • Help prepare project proposals and presentations for leadership and shop floor personnel
  • Support LSCC teammates with research and shop floor operations
  • Assist with procurement or modification of tools needed for production support
  • Work with mechanics and team members to share process knowledge and support skill development
  • Assist with closure of quality corrective actions (IQDS) by gathering information and supporting root cause analysis
  • Demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and customer service through the principles of Seek, Speak, and Listen

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience with collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • 3+ years of experience developing, contributing, and/or maintaining processes, policies, and procedures
  • 3+ years of experience accessing aircraft computer data systems to initiate on-line parts and discrepancy requests
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial or military airplane maintenance and/or modification
  • Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Experience in Excel and manipulating data tables and formulas

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience using GOLD and I-GOLD
  • Experience with Shipside Action Tracker (SAT)
  • Experience leading team in a formal or informal leadership role
  • Project Management experience for small and large projects
  • Previous Line Side Control Center experience
  • Experience with Depot level/ Modification maintenance
