Job Profile Summary:
Provides intermediate to complex process-related strategy and direction for the use and maintenance of enrollment and student records information systems to ensure high quality delivery of student registration services.

Job Description:

Max Pay - Depends on Experience:

$48,600- $55,000 per year; DOE


Under general supervision, interprets, encodes, and maintains degree requirements with regards to general academic and curricular activities and actions in accordance with priorities set by the Office of the Provost.  


Essential Duties

  • Maintain course schedule and room schedules in the university systems
  • Accurately interpret, encode, verify, and maintain degree programs (majors, minors, concentrations, emphasis areas and certificates) throughout a variety of degree audits 
  • Maintains knowledge of structure and location of various data sources to assist in creation of queries and applications utilizing that data 
  • Assist with data management within PeopleSoft to support course and faculty needs forecasting  
  • Provide on-going training to users in assigned units by way of email, phone or in-person sessions 
  • Maintain knowledge of the university scheduling process, including class logistics 
  • Create and maintain documentation for processes and projects 
  • Plan and prioritize workload to meet set deadlines 
  • Develops work plans in accordance with established unit and program objectives and funding limitations 
  • Supervises, leads, trains, and monitors the activities of assigned student staff 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues submitted

  • Support the development and tracking of annual goals and strategic plan for recruitment function 
  • Provides consultative assistance in the adaptation of events logistics to achieve desired outcomes 
  • Maintains collaborative rapport with appropriate departments, centers and units to assess event needs and develop event recommendations and plan 
  • Develops and facilitates workshops, meetings or conferences with high impact on program and/or participants; coordinates logistics, scheduling and participant communications; reviews and approves all final billings for payment
  • Manage Kuali submissions including course proposals, new program admissions, and micocertificates
  • Assist with Assessment program entry
  • Coordinate with GOEE and the learning and teaching hub on online programming

  • Knowledge of DARS or other degree audit package 
  • Knowledge of and experience with curriculum process and higher education systems and related business principles

  • Ability to create and update website pages, including posting copy and loading images to websites

  • Skill in applying the principles, techniques and methods of teamwork, compromise and collaboration to produce desired outcomes

Working Environment

Activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse; frequent standing and walking. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds. Ability to regularly change priorities to accomplish tasks.
