Job Description
As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Access Driver in El Dorado, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Armed Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and conduct routine patrols to help deter incidents. This driving post offers the opportunity to provide professional customer service, respond to security-related concerns, and support a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor and control access to the chemical and petrochemical facility by verifying credentials, authorizations, visitor registrations, and delivery documentation.
- Operate access-control systems, maintain accurate entry and exit records, and communicate access concerns to appropriate site contacts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Possess a guard card or license, preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
