Requirements:
- Fluency in French and English (B2);
- A degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field is preferred;
- At least 2 years of relevant professional experience in Finance, including areas such as Controlling, General Ledger, Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable.
What will you do:
Month-End Closing and Business Controlling Responsibilities
- Coordinates the pre-closing and month-end closing activities in accordance with the established financial calendar;
- Ensures timely completion of tasks and deliverables, including allocation keys, accruals and reclassifications;
- Contributes to the business performance management and steering processes;
- Supports the improvement of data quality and reliability by enhancing operational procedures and providing guidance to internal stakeholders;
- Ensures compliance with established standards and identifies, escalates and reports any deviations;
- Develops corrective action plans and monitors their implementation.
Analysis and Reporting
- Builds and runs queries required to the development of all dashboards/reporting tools for which he / she is responsible;
- Analyzes key cost categories and identifies trends and variances;
- Reviews and validates cost allocations and provisions;
- Delivers accurate and timely financial reports in line with business requirements;
- Validates data accuracy and investigates anomalies and alerts internal Business Partners on discrepancies and risks;
- Performs variance analysis against forecasts, providing insights and communicates findings to relevant stakeholders.
Forecasting and Planning
- Supports the preparation and consolidation of periodic forecasts;
- Prepares the data, analyses and reporting formats required for forecasting activities;
- Identifies and escalates data quality and accuracy issues that may impact planning outcomes;
- Consolidates and prepares summaries for internal Business Partners.
Continuous Improvement and Standardization
- Collaborates with internal business partners and colleagues across Service Lines/Departments to drive process standardization and share best practices;
- Supports initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, transparency, and consistency across business controlling activities.
