Help improve how engineering is delivered in practice
Do you enjoy helping organisations improve performance, strengthen leadership routines and turn strategy into execution?
We are looking for an Engineering Delivery & Operational Excellence Partner to work with leaders across Manufacturing Design & Implementation (MD&I) and the broader Engineering & Workplace (E&W) organisation. In this role, you will help improve how engineering is delivered across complex manufacturing and engineering environments by embedding Lean thinking, structured ways of working and strong performance management practices.
You will play a key role in deploying the Engineering Delivery System, ensuring that teams, sites and programmes operate with greater clarity, alignment and consistency.
Core Responsibilities
Deploy and embed the Engineering Delivery System across engineering and manufacturing environments
Apply Lean and Operational Excellence principles to improve performance and delivery outcomes
Strengthen leadership routines, governance and performance management practices
Facilitate structured problem-solving and continuous improvement activities
Translate strategic priorities into measurable actions and results
Support leaders in building sustainable capability and operational discipline
Drive behavioural and cultural change that delivers long-term impact

You will join the Engineering Systems & Performance Team, a global capability focused on improving how engineering is delivered across E&W. Working across sites, programmes and leadership teams, you will help bridge the gap between strategy and execution, ensuring consistent ways of working and stronger delivery performance across the organisation. This is a role for someone who enjoys working where change happens — partnering with leaders, solving real problems and helping teams perform at their best.
Do you have what it takes?
We are looking for someone who combines operational credibility with transformation experience.
Experience in Lean, Operational Excellence or Continuous Improvement within engineering, manufacturing or industrial environments
A strong understanding of operational or engineering delivery systems
Experience influencing leaders and teams without direct authority
Strong facilitation, coaching and problem-solving skills
Experience working in complex, cross-functional organisations
The ability to connect strategic intent with operational execution
Nice to have
Experience within manufacturing, automation, logistics or industrial engineering environments
Exposure to large-scale transformation programmes
Experience implementing management systems or structured operating models
