Description
As an IT Risk Officer, you'll join the Retail Tech IT Risk Team, where you'll play an important role in strengthening ING's technology risk and control environment.
You will partner closely with technology teams to implement and validate IT controls, support risk mitigation activities, and provide guidance on risk standards and best practices. Working with stakeholders across risk, audit, security, and technology functions, you'll help ensure the safety, resilience, and effectiveness of our IT landscape.

About the Team
You will become part of ING Hubs Philippines, an international organization supporting ING's Retail and Wholesale Banking businesses worldwide.
The Retail Tech IT Risk Team works closely with technology squads, risk specialists, auditors, and security professionals across multiple locations. Together, we help create a robust control environment that supports innovation while maintaining the highest standards of risk management and compliance.

What You'll Do
- Interpret ING's IT risk policies and minimum standards, supporting teams in applying them effectively
- Implement, maintain, and validate IT controls across systems and processes
- Perform Test of Design (ToD) and Test of Operational Effectiveness (ToE) activities to assess control effectiveness
- Advise technology teams on strengthening control environments and operational processes
- Promote awareness of IT risk topics within the technology community
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across Risk, Audit, Security, and Technology teams
- Prepare reports, risk assessments, and presentations for management and relevant stakeholders
- Support Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) activities and continuous improvement initiatives
What We're Looking For
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accountancy, Business Management, Economics, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in IT Risk Management, IT Audit, or a similar risk-focused role
- Understanding of IT governance principles and practices
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management and Change Management processes
- Experience supporting risk assessments and control testing activities
- Understanding of core IT policies, procedures, and controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong stakeholder management and reporting capabilities
- Ability to work effectively with diverse teams in a dynamic, international environment
- Accountability and ownership in delivering high-quality work
