Role
The Director of Food & Beverage provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for all Food & Beverage operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, financial success, and operational excellence. The role is responsible for developing long-term business strategies, driving revenue and profitability, maintaining luxury service standards, leading high-performing teams, and delivering innovative dining concepts aligned with the resort's vision and brand standards.
Responsibilities
Lead and oversee all Food & Beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, in-villa dining, beach operations, banquets, and special events.
Develop and execute strategic business, financial, and operational plans, including annual budgets, CAPEX, forecasting, and profit & loss management.
Drive revenue growth and profitability through pricing strategies, cost control, menu engineering and business development initiatives.
Maintain the highest standards of food & beverage service, hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction.
Develop new dining concepts, seasonal menus, marketing initiatives, and promotional campaigns to enhance the guest experience and competitive positioning.
Monitor guest feedback, implement continuous service improvements, and ensure brand standards are consistently achieved.
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing Food & Beverage leadership team through recruitment, coaching, succession planning, and performance management.
Collaborate with other departments to achieve overall resort objectives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, financial controls, procurement procedures, and health & safety regulations.
Represent the resort as a visible leader, fostering innovation, operational excellence, and a strong culture of service.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Extensive senior leadership experience in Food & Beverage operations within luxury resorts.
Proven success in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, revenue optimization, and cost control.
Strong strategic planning, commercial acumen, and business development capabilities.
Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Passion for luxury hospitality, guest experience, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Flexible, results-driven, and able to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
