The Assistant Stewarding Manager plays a key leadership role within the Food & Beverage operation, supporting the Stewarding Manager in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and operational efficiency. This role ensures that back-of-house operations run seamlessly, enabling our culinary and service teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
What you will do:
Support the daily operation of the stewarding department, ensuring all kitchens, restaurants, and service areas meet Four Seasons cleanliness and safety standards
Lead, train, and motivate the stewarding team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and HACCP regulations
Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and task assignments to meet operational needs
Oversee proper use, storage, and maintenance of kitchen equipment, china, glassware, and silverware
Assist with inventory control, cost management, and waste reduction initiatives
Collaborate closely with Culinary and Food & Beverage leadership to support service flow and special events
Step in for the Stewarding Manager as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations
What you will bring:
Previous experience in stewarding or back-of-house operations within a luxury hotel or high-volume hospitality environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams
Solid knowledge of sanitation standards, health and safety regulations, and operational best practices
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings
A positive attitude, hands-on leadership style, and commitment to excellence
Fluency in English; additional languages are an asset
