Senior Workshop Engineer

Job Purpose:

Managing workshop operations, supervising technicians, ensuring high-quality vehicle repairs, and achieving workshop productivity and efficiency targets while maintaining safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise workshop technicians to maximize productivity.
• Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
• Ensure the correct identification and installation of spare parts.
• Monitor repair quality before vehicle delivery.
• Track daily workshop KPIs, efficiency, and carry-over.Plan and allocate workshop jobs based on technician capabilities and workload.
• Follow up on delayed and repeat repairs and take corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards and repair procedures.
• Coordinate with Technical Support, Training, and Warranty teams.
• Maintain safety, discipline, and operational standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Automotive, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• +3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostic tools and repair procedures.
• Experience in workshop operations and technician performance management.
• Leadership ability with experience managing technical teams.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and KPI-driven.
