  • Winning as one team by embracing collaboration, trust, and diverse perspectives: Build and sustain long-term relationships with customers, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.

  • Evaluate and manage project scopes, field directives, and client-issued changes, ensuring accurate cost assessments and timely resolutions.

  • Oversee costs, billing, and collections to meet profitability targets while maintaining positive cash flow.

  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, as well as Johnson Controls' standards and procedures.

  • Negotiate, prepare, and manage subcontracts, ensuring documentation aligns with contractual requirements.

  • Facilitate customer training and manage engineering and commissioning processes to align with project standards.

  • Provide direction and resources to field teams and collaborate with sales and management for project development initiatives.

What we look for

  • Minimum of eight years of direct project management experience in the Building Construction Industry, particularly in data centers.

  • Management experience with projects related to Mechanical Retrofits, HVAC controls, BAS management, Fire management, and Security management systems within data centers is desired.

  • Expectation that PMI/PMP (Project Management Institute, Project Management Professional) certification will be obtained within 2 years of employment in the position.

  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.

  •  Ability to communicate technical material to a non-technical audience.

  • Proficient in Project Management software and financial accounting systems.
