💙 Companion Caregiver (No Certification Required) – Bergen County, NJ

💙 What You'll Do

Our companion clients receive care in private homes, assisted living communities, rehabilitation facilities, and hospitals throughout Bergen County.

Every client is different, but your day may include:

• Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
• Going on walks or accompanying clients on outings
• Playing cards, games, or participating in hobbies
• Preparing simple meals and snacks
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Running errands or accompanying clients to appointments (when applicable)
• Providing encouragement, emotional support, and a friendly presence

Whether you enjoy sitting and talking with seniors or prefer staying active by walking and chatting, we'll match you with clients that fit your personality.

 

💵 Pay

$16.00–$20.00 per hour

🕒 Flexible Scheduling

We offer a variety of opportunities to fit your lifestyle, including:

• Part-Time Shifts: 6-hour, 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts
• Live-In Companion Opportunities

✅ Qualifications

• Compassionate, dependable, and patient
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass a background check
• Previous caregiving, hospitality, customer service, or companion experience is a plus—but not required

• Starting Pay: $16–$20 per hour
