Position Summary
The role of the Internal Communications Associate Director is to contribute to China’s growth and success by developing executive communications and leading employee communications through internal events and platforms that showcases the company’s strategy.
Key responsibilities:
1. Executive Communication
Lead executive communications and prepare narrative support for executive’s media interview and speaking opportunities.
Conduct executives and spokesperson media training.
2. Employee communications
Lead internal events such as Townhall and Annual Meeting
Manage internal communications platforms, including Sync, all-staff emails, WeCom, and the editorial board
Communicate the company’s China strategy to employees through platforms such as newsletters and hub.
3. Talent development
Grow talents and provide support for team members’ ongoing career development.
Develop team and agency’s communications capabilities.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree (BA or BS), study of journalism, public affairs, public policy, marketing or communications
In excess of 12 years’ experience in media and/or agency’s roles
Proven ability to engage in media and drive strong media relationships and solid media results
Possess the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage complex strategic initiatives and programs, while meeting expectations and deadlines within budgetary guidelines
Possess strong time and project management and organizational skills, and the ability to remain flexible in a constantly changing environment
Strong interpersonal skills in building and maintaining internal and external relationships
Proficiency in English language for both oral and written
