Location: Gurugram (On-site)
We are looking for a detail-oriented and curious Manual Tester to join our Website Technology team. This team is responsible for developing and maintaining customer-facing experiences across Home.Saxo, including content pages, campaign landing pages, market and product experiences, customer journeys, integrations, and CMS-driven functionality.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality, enjoy exploring how users interact with websites, and have a strong understanding of modern web testing practices. You should be comfortable working closely with developers, business stakeholders, and product owners in a fast-paced Agile environment. Experience with test automation and accessibility testing is a plus.
Responsibilities
Review business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios and potential risks early in the development process.
Perform thorough manual testing across desktop, mobile, and tablet devices to ensure a seamless user experience.
Validate website functionality, content, integrations, forms, tracking, and customer journeys across multiple browsers and platforms.
Execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and smoke testing.
Identify, document, prioritise, and follow up on defects through to resolution.
Work closely with developers, designers, content editors, and product owners to ensure quality is built into the solution from the start.
Verify website releases and support production validation activities after deployments.
Test CMS-driven functionality and content publishing workflows.
Validate website performance, responsiveness, SEO-related implementations, and analytics tracking where required.
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
Contribute to improving testing processes, quality standards, and best practices within the team.
Support and contribute to test automation initiatives where appropriate.
Your Profile
5–8 years of experience in web application and website testing.
Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodologies.
Experience testing responsive websites across different browsers, operating systems, and devices.
Solid understanding of functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
Experience working with defect management and test management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, or similar platforms.
Good understanding of website technologies including HTML, CSS, browser developer tools, APIs, and web-based architectures.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a cross-functional team.
A quality-first mindset with a focus on customer experience.
Nice to Have
Experience testing CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager, Contentful, or similar.
Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG / EAA) and accessibility testing tools.
Understanding of SEO principles and how technical changes can impact search visibility.
Exposure to automation testing tools such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar frameworks.
Experience working in financial services, fintech, or other highly regulated industries.
