Lead the Future of Safe, High-Impact Care Environments

Riverbend Community Mental Health—a trusted leader in New Hampshire’s behavioral health community—is seeking a strategic, forward-thinking, and mission-driven Director of Workplace Health & Safety to lead the vision, strategy, and continuous improvement of our facilities, safety, and environmental operations across a growing and dynamic organization.

This is more than a facilities and safety leadership role—it’s an opportunity to shape the environments where healing happens. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring Riverbend’s facilities are safe, resilient, compliant, and designed to support exceptional behavioral health services for the individuals and families we serve.

As Riverbend continues to expand under the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, this role will be at the forefront of transforming our physical infrastructure to meet evolving clinical needs, regulatory expectations, and organizational growth. You will help ensure our spaces are not only operationally excellent, but also welcoming, accessible, and built to support innovative models of care.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will develop and execute organization-wide strategies that bring together facilities management, workplace health and safety, emergency preparedness, environmental stewardship, and physical security. Through collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence, you will help create a culture where safety is embedded into every aspect of our work.

Your leadership will directly impact the people who deliver care, the communities we serve, and Riverbend’s ability to provide high-quality, accessible behavioral health services for years to come.

Why Join Us?

Make a real impact—every single day. Join one of the state’s largest and most respected community mental health providers, where your work directly changes the lives of local individuals and families. At Riverbend, you’re not just filling a role—you’re helping transform lives and strengthen our community.

At Riverbend, you’ll be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team that is deeply committed to both client care and employee growth. We foster a supportive and inclusive environment where your voice matters, your contributions are recognized, and your career can thrive.

If you’re looking for meaningful work, a strong team culture, and real opportunities for professional growth through training, certifications, and advancement—Riverbend is the place to build your future while making a difference.
