- This position provides an exciting opportunity to become an integral part of the manufacturing finance staff team while using your influence (data-driven) to drive business improvements.
- You will work with a diverse, cross-functional team to drive achievement of operating metrics aligned with financial commitments.
- This position supports a Director of Manufacturing and will have opportunities to demonstrate analytical and leadership potential to senior levels of finance management
What you'll do...
- Operate as Manufacturing Director Finance lead developing physicals-based business analyses to support critical decision making
- Business Condition Monitoring: Continuously monitor changing business conditions while assessing the potential impacts on labor & overhead commitments
- Plant Finance Collaboration: Collaborate with plant finance teams to understand key issues, and solution those issues to drive efficiencies
- Special Studies & Ad Hoc Analysis: Provide analytical support for special studies and ad hoc initiatives
- Monthly Forecast / Close Responsibilities: Partner with plants to understand and report month-end close and forecast performance; consolidate plant forecasts and provide insights to senior management; partner with plants to understand hiring needs and support hiring requests
- Business Plan / Budget Responsibilities: Develop physicals-based plans to deliver efficiency targets; develop “should cost” assessments to drive the budget process for each plant; conduct special studies to evaluate the impact of capacity changes on labor & overhead cost; finalize and deploy budgets consistent with North America Manufacturing financial commitments
- Process Modernization: Contribute to Manufacturing Modernization efforts and be willing to upskill to use the latest technology to enable more efficient execution of responsibilities
You'll have...
- Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting
- Communication & Presentation: Good communication and confident presentation skills
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work well across multiple functions, and willing team player
- Analytical Precision: Excellent analytical capability with attention to detail
- Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
- Mindset: Self-starter, quick and willing learner
- Technical Skills: Experience using Excel, Power Query/Power BI; knowledge of other analytical tools helpful (Open Code, Power Apps, etc)

Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
