Description
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Receptionist with some assisting skills to join our dynamic dental team. This vital role combines front desk responsibilities with clinical support, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for patients from the moment they walk through our doors.
The ideal candidate will excel in managing administrative tasks coordinating patient schedules, and assisting dental professionals (occasionally) . This position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to patient care while maintaining an organized and efficient office environment.
DUTIES:
- Greet patients warmly, check them in and out efficiently, and manage appointment scheduling using dental practice management software such as Abeldent.
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly, directing calls appropriately and taking detailed messages when necessary.
- Verify patient insurance informations, update medical and dental records accurately within electronic medical records systems, annd ensure all documentation complies with privacy regulations.
- Assist dental professionals during procedures by preparing instruments, sterilizing equipment, and handling necessary supplies
- Manage front desk operations including billings, payment processing, and coordinating referrals or follow-up appointments.
- Maintain organized office flow by managing appointment calendars, confirming upcoming visits, and handling patient inquiries professionally.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, date entry, and maintaining office supplies to ensure a seamless office environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience as a dental receptionist with familiarity using Abeldent software.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and electronic medical records systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle they-line phone wasting confidently.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail in managing schedules and patient records.
- Ability to work collaboratively with dental professionals while providing exceptional customer service
- Administrative experience that includes handling insurance claims, billing, or front desk operations.
Salary commensurate with experience.
