Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

• 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience (C110)Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military service. This experience is crucial for ensuring the safety and security of our clients and staff.

• Security Experience - +1 Years (C115)In addition to armed experience, candidates should possess at least one year of general security experience. This includes roles that involve monitoring, patrolling, and ensuring the safety of premises.

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201)Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with access control systems and badge management. Experience in managing entry points and ensuring authorized access is essential for maintaining security protocols.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204)Proficiency in using computers or tablets is required. Candidates should be comfortable navigating software applications and digital tools necessary for reporting and communication.

• Customer Service Experience (B219)A background in customer service is essential, as candidates will interact with clients and the public. Strong communication skills and the ability to handle inquiries and concerns professionally are required.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, vendors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry records and communicate access-related information to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, receiving areas, production-adjacent locations, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
