Manager Facilities Operation & Maintenance

Lead and manage critical facility operations supporting semiconductor manufacturing, ensuring the reliable performance of utilities such as UPW, WWT, HVAC, gas and chemical delivery systems, scrubbers, and emergency power systems. Drive maintenance excellence through preventive and predictive maintenance programs, lead facility improvement and CAPEX projects, and manage a 24/7 engineering team, contractors, and key vendors to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Operations & Critical Infrastructure Management Ensure continuous, uninterrupted operation of all plant utilities supporting the manufacturing cleanrooms (ISO Class 6 to ISO Class 8) Oversee the maintenance and reliability of critical semiconductor facility systems, including:  Ultra-Pure Water (UPW) production and recycling systems.  Waste Water Treatment (WWT) and hazardous chemical drainage.  Bulk Chemical and Gas Delivery Systems (specialty process gases, bulkliquids).  HVAC & Make-up Air Handling Units (MAU) to strictly control particulate counts, temperature, and relative humidity.  Scrubber and exhaust systems.  Manage emergency power supply systems, including UPS and backup diesel generators.  Engineering, Maintenance & Lifecycle Develop, implement, and optimize robust Predictive and Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programs to eliminate unplanned downtime.  Lead root-cause analysis (RCA) investigations for any facility-related excursions or near-misses, implementing permanent corrective actions.  Manage capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects for facility expansions ,tool hook-ups (de-installation/installation of fab equipment), and system upgrades. Leadership & Vendor Management Lead, mentor, and develop a 24/7 shift-based team of facility engineers, technicians, and contractors.  Manage relationships, contracts, and SLAs with critical utility suppliers, hazardous waste vendors, and specialized engineering contractors.  Develop and manage the annual facility operational budget (OPEX). Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed  Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications is a plus.  Minimum of 7–10 years of facility management experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role specifically within a semiconductor manufacturing plant or a closely related high-tech, high-purity environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, advanced display).  Deep technical knowledge of UPW, specialized gas/chemical delivery, cleanroom protocol, and industrial automation systems (SCADA/BMS).  Strong understanding of tool hook-up matrixes and cleanroom space optimization.  Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, SixSigma, 8D).  Exceptional crisis management and decision-making skills under high-pressure situations.  Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical facility issues into business/financial impacts for executive leadership.  Must be willing to be on-call 24/7 to handle critical facility emergencies. #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
