This position would be part of the Global IE team reporting the Sr. Manager of Budget and Planning. The IE team supports the capital budget for Innovation, Technology, & Products (ITP) department, and manages space and strategic capacity for Technology Development (TD). Partnering globally with Engineering teams, Procurement, Finance, and ITP Senior Leaders are primary expectations of this role in pursuit of supporting ITP’s footprint.
Additional responsibilities for this role include:
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, including completing required training, reporting concerns, conducting audits, and promoting a strong safety culture.
- Partner with cross-functional team members across Global TD Operations and Engineering, budget and finance teams, equipment and process development, Finance, MFG and central teams, and Procurement to ensure budget, space, and capacity enables TD.
- Lead capacity, space, and capital planning activities, building forecasts, budgets, analyses, and recommendations while guiding workflow and decision-making across teams.
- Manage and coordinate complex, cross-functional projects, developing timelines, tracking milestones, optimizing resources, minimizing duplication, and adjusting plans to meet business objectives.
- Apply industrial engineering, statistical analysis, data analytics, and AI-enabled solutions to improve forecasting, evaluate scenarios, identify root causes, design experiments, develop measurement methodologies, and drive data-informed decisions.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or Budget Engineering or Production Operations Management (POM) , equivalent degree, with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Advanced understanding of fab planning, area tool configurations, manufacturing science (capacity planning, theory of constraints), budget management, and optimization.
- Basic understanding of SQL and AI to improve output (presentations or technical analysis).
- Proven communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships and present complex analyses in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including critical thinking, root-cause analysis, data interpretation, data visualization, and process optimization to improve efficiency and business outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MS in Engineering with 5+ years in ITP, manufacturing planning, budgeting, process improvement, or related operational functions.
- Strong project and program management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities, manage multiple complex projects, facilitate teams, and drive initiatives to successful completion.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), with working knowledge of SQL/Python and demonstrated ability to leverage AI-enabled tools to enhance technical outputs, presentations, and continuous learning.
- Experience or knowledge of data collection, warehousing systems, and data cleansing
