POSITION SUMMARY:
The Emergency Response Case Manager assists individuals and families with recovery from wildfire impacts, including access to emergency shelter, permanent housing, basic needs, financial assistance, food, transportation, health and behavioral health resources, replacement of essential documents, disaster recovery resources, and other appropriate services.

Essential Functions:
- Complete initial interviews and assessments with individuals and families impacted by wildfire to determine eligibility, immediate needs, and appropriate services.
- Assist individuals and families in accessing emergency shelter, temporary housing, and other safe accommodations when needed.
- Develop individualized recovery and service plans in collaboration with clients and monitor progress toward identified goals.
- Monitor adherence to the service plan and maintain accurate and timely communication among the client, agency staff, and partner organizations.
- Assist clients in accessing emergency assistance, disaster recovery resources, financial assistance, food, transportation, clothing, household items, and other basic needs through direct assistance and/or referral.
- Provide information, support, and referrals to assist clients and families experiencing crisis, displacement, loss, or other challenges resulting from wildfire.
- Provide ongoing supportive services to individuals and families to assist them in coping with the impacts of wildfire and navigating complex recovery systems.
- Participate in emergency response activities, community outreach, resource fairs, disaster recovery events, and other activities as assigned.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Full Wage Range: Additional wage progression may be available over time under the organization's established compensation structure. The full established pay scale for this position is $21.65 - $55.73 per hour; however, placement above the starting wage range is not available at hire.
