Description
We are looking for a highly analytical, curious, and execution-oriented strategist to help shape, test, and scale value initiatives across the Arby's brand. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in test-and-learn environments, enjoys solving complex business problems, and can translate data into clear, actionable recommendations that drive business performance.
The Associate Manager, Brand Experience Value will play a critical role in driving profitable growth for Arby's and its Franchisees by helping define and execute the brand's value strategy. This individual will lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through commercialization, bringing rigor to how value opportunities are prioritized, tested, measured, and scaled. The role requires balancing guest needs, franchisee economics, competitive dynamics, and operational feasibility to identify and implement value solutions that drive traffic, frequency, and long-term brand health.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, engineering, or related field
Professional Experience:
3-5 years in strategy, analytics, brand marketing, consulting, revenue management, or test-and-learn environments
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supports the development and management of a structured value roadmap, identifying opportunities that drive traffic, frequency, guest acquisition, retention, and profitability.
Leads end-to-end market testing of value initiatives, including test design, KPI development, success criteria, performance measurement, and post-test recommendations.
Synthesizes consumer, operational, financial, and competitive data to evaluate opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and inform strategic decisions.
Partners closely with Revenue Management, Operations, Culinary, Supply Chain, Digital, Loyalty, Analytics, and Franchise stakeholders to align on value strategies and execution plans.
Identifies whitespace opportunities and quantifies the potential business impact through analysis of consumer behaviors, competitive activity, transaction drivers, and market trends.
Develops business cases and strategic recommendations that balance guest value perception, franchisee profitability, and operational execution.
Supports commercialization planning by translating test learnings into actionable rollout strategies and implementation plans.
Monitors initiative performance and recommends optimizations based on business results, consumer feedback, and operational insights.
Brings rigor and consistency to value planning methodologies, measurement frameworks, and decision-making processes.
Develops clear, concise, executive-ready presentations and recommendations for leadership review and decision making.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Core Capabilities
Strong analytical mindset with experience translating complex data into strategic recommendations and business action.
Demonstrated experience leading testing, experimentation, and performance measurement efforts using structured test-and-learn methodologies.
Ability to balance customer experience, operational feasibility, franchisee economics, and financial impact in decision-making.
Strong cross-functional collaborator with the ability to influence stakeholders and build alignment across varying perspectives.
Structured problem solver with strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
Effective project manager capable of managing multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and timelines simultaneously.
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and independently driving projects forward with limited direction.
Results-oriented with a bias for action and a focus on measurable business outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop executive-ready presentations and recommendations.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, SUMIFS, INDEX/MATCH, and large dataset analysis.
Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create compelling, executive-ready presentations.
Experience using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools to analyze and visualize data.
Experience working with transaction, traffic, consumer, or loyalty datasets preferred.
Key Differences from the Specialist Role
Greater ownership of the value roadmap rather than primarily supporting it.
Leads larger, more complex testing initiatives with broader cross-functional coordination.
Develops business cases and strategic recommendations, not just analysis and reporting.
Expected to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across functions.
Increased accountability for commercialization planning and scaling successful initiatives.
