Description: The Night (NOC) Coordinator oversees aspects of support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in 24-hour Residential Group Homes and Supported Living Services. In this position, you provide important leadership and guidance to our NOC Direct Support Professionals and assist with training, staffing, and disciplinary procedures. A successful Night Coordinator is dependable, able to problem solve independently, and always puts client health and safety first.

Work Schedule

Monday-Wednesday, 9PM-7AM, & Thursday 11PM-9AM. 

Hours may vary due to program requirements and staff meetings. Weekend rotating on-call.

Job Duties (include, but are not limited to)

• Dispense medications accurately and document medication administration in the THERAP system.
• Respond to medical emergencies and contact supervisors or medical professionals as needed.
• Schedule and coordinate medical appointments, transportation, paperwork, and follow-up documentation.
• Maintain accurate client financial records in coordination with the Representative Payee.
• Report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation according to company policies and state requirements.
• Ensure residential homes meet required health and safety standards for clients and Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
• Maintain knowledge of Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and assist with developing and updating client plans.
• Monitor staffing levels and coordinate coverage for DSP call-outs, including working the NOC shift or part of the shift when necessary.
• Review DSP staff documentation and training records and provide additional training or coaching as needed.
• Use the THERAP system to maintain accurate client and staff records.
• Train and orient new and existing DSP staff at residential sites.
• Assist with biweekly payroll and timesheet processing.
• Assist with DSP scheduling and staffing coordination.
• Address staff performance concerns professionally and in accordance with the company’s Progressive Discipline process.
• Communicate professionally and work effectively as part of a team.
• Work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and make appropriate decisions when needed.

Requirements

• Must be over the age of 18 years old
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, and driving records check
• Must maintain an Approved Background check (renewed every 3 years, or more frequently as requested by DHS)
• Must have a valid driver's license with a driving record that allows insurability by HPI's Auto Insurance provider (DRIVING REQUIRED position)
• Must have 6+ months of supervisor experience managing 5+ employees
• Intermediate computer skills: typing, print/copy/fax, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, etc.), Online scheduling (Paylocity) and timecards, Online client documentation (Therap)

Physical Demands

Physical demands of the job include constantly (2/3 or more of the time) moving from location to location – such as when you are providing training and providing direct supports to client as necessary. Lifting up to 25lbs by yourself or 50lbs with assistance.

Work Environment

In residential homes and business office; however, it will involve interaction with intellectually and/or developmentally disabled individuals which can result in physical contact and/or verbal exchanges.
