Description
The Amenity Collective, recognized as a 2026 Top Workplace, is North America’s leading provider of single-source solutions across the aquatics, fitness, and recreation industries.
We are looking for an Auto Risk Manager to join our growing team! As Auto Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in protecting company assets, promoting safe driving practices, and reducing the organization’s overall total cost of risk. Reporting to the General Counsel, this position has a dual focus: proactively monitoring fleet telematics and dashcam data to identify and address unsafe driving behaviors, while managing the lifecycle of commercial auto claims under the company’s auto program. The Auto Risk Manager serves as a key liaison among field operations, drivers, as well as other internal and external stakeholders in the process. This role combines fleet safety, claims management, risk mitigation, and operational support, making it an integral part of the company’s commitment to safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Safety & Telematics Management
Monitor fleet telematics platforms, including GPS and smart dashcam systems, to track driver safety scores, speeding, harsh braking, distracted driving, and other high-risk driving behaviors.
Serve as the primary point of contact for GPS and telematics vendors across all company locations.
Provide training and ongoing support to company drivers on GPS, dashcam, and fleet technology systems.
Identify high-risk driving patterns and partner with Operations to implement driver coaching and corrective action plans.
Monitor vehicle recall alerts and coordinate appropriate follow-up to ensure timely compliance.
Partner with the fuel management provider to develop vehicle specifications and serve as the primary point of contact for fuel management initiatives.
Monitor GPS device connectivity and ensure telematics systems remain operational across the commercial service fleet.
Troubleshoot offline devices and coordinate resolution with vendors and field personnel.
Insurance Claims Management
Maintain and manage insurance identification cards for the commercial services fleet.
Serve as the primary point of contact for First Notice of Loss (FNOL) intake for auto accidents involving company drivers and fleet vehicles.
Support legal team to conduct timely post-accident investigations, including obtaining dashcam footage, reviewing telematics data, collecting police reports, and obtaining driver and witness statements.
Collaborate closely with Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and field adjusters throughout the insurance claims process.
Monitor claim activity and collaborate with internal and external partners to support timely and effective claim resolution.
Manage subrogation and recovery efforts involving at-fault third parties for damage to company vehicles and other recoverable losses.
Maintain accurate and organized claim documentation and provide claim-related updates and reporting to internal leadership as needed.
Data Analytics & Continuous Improvement
Prepare monthly claims frequency and severity and telematics risk dashboards for the General Counsel and Platform leadership teams.
Analyze root causes of fleet accidents to recommend targeted fleet safety training and policy revisions.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of professional work experience in one or more of the following areas: commercial auto insurance claims, third-party administrator claims, risk management, fleet safety, or paralegal work involving auto liability.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess risk and prioritize competing demands.
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with fleet management software, platforms, or service providers.
Experience with GPS, telematics, dashcam, or driver safety platforms.
Experience managing commercial auto claims within a self-insured or high-SIR environment.
Familiarity with fleet safety programs, driver coaching, or risk management practices.
