Press Material Handler

· Perform and document daily pre-operational inspections of forklifts and material handling equipment

· Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to support press operations and production flow

· Restock presses with required materials and arrange plated stampings in designated storage areas

· Remove stamped parts from presses and transport finished goods to staging or shipping areas

· Organize, return, and maintain bins, racks, and material storage locations

· Ensure lift truck maintenance, servicing, and reporting requirements are met in accordance with company standards

· Maintain a clean, orderly, and organized work area to support a safe manufacturing environment

· Communicate regularly with supervisors and production teams to identify and resolve material flow or equipment issues

· Operate barcode scanning systems and print labels accurately and efficiently

· Follow all workplace health and safety guidelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

· Comply with all company policies, procedures, and quality standards

· Provide general administrative and secretarial support to management as assigned.

· Support and practice KAIZEN principles and participate in related activities (GEAR).

 

Requirements:

· Hold a valid propane forklift certification with proven experience operating a counterbalance lift truck

· Experience operating overhead cranes is required; valid overhead crane certification is considered an asset.

· Demonstrate a minimum of two (2) years of forklift or material handling experience (preferred)

· Demonstrate basic math skills for counting, inventory handling, and material verification

· Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production setting

This job posting is for an existing vacancy. The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be:

$21.14 - $34.09
