Job Description
As a Social Security Senior Manager, you will play a key leadership role in delivering social security advisory and compliance services to a portfolio of multinational clients. You will provide technical expertise on international social security matters, manage complex client engagements, and lead the delivery of high-quality services across Vialto Partners' global network.
Working closely with clients, government authorities and colleagues across our international practice, you will help organisations navigate increasingly complex global workforce and social security requirements while driving operational excellence and developing high-performing teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of social security advisory and compliance services for a portfolio of multinational clients.
- Provide technical advice on UK and international social security matters, including international assignments, business travel, remote working arrangements and Certificates of Coverage.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, acting as a senior advisor on social security compliance and risk management.
- Manage complex client engagements, ensuring services are delivered accurately, efficiently and within agreed timelines.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes, policies and service delivery, leading discussions with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain internal social security policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes and business requirements.
- Oversee the preparation, submission and monitoring of social security applications through government portals.
- Liaise with government authorities and external agencies to resolve social security matters and support compliance activities.
- Coordinate with Vialto Partners' global network to obtain Certificates of Coverage and manage cross-border compliance requirements.
- Review overlapping travel and certificate coverage periods to ensure compliance and data accuracy.
- Track application progress, monitor certificate issuance and communicate updates to clients and internal teams.
- Prepare client and interoffice billing.
- Produce dashboards, management reports and compliance metrics for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support business development through proposals, presentations and client meetings.
- Develop technical guidance, training materials and knowledge-sharing initiatives for Social Security teams across the global network.
- Coach, mentor and develop junior team members while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Tax, Immigration, Payroll and Global Mobility to deliver integrated solutions for clients.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Extensive experience in UK and international social security compliance, ideally within a professional services or global mobility environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of international social security legislation and cross-border workforce matters.
- Experience managing client relationships and leading complex engagements.
- Demonstrated people leadership experience with a passion for coaching and developing others.
- Excellent project management, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience working with government authorities and managing compliance processes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commercial awareness with experience supporting business development initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
