Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​

This specialist role is a subject matter expert for the Mobile Voice Core Network. You will be responsible for the planning, design, capacity management, and optimization of our CS Core (MSS, IGW), IMS, and signalling platforms (STP, DRA) to support VoLTE, VoWiFi, and other voice services.

What You Will Do

Network Planning & Design:

• Design and plan the evolution of the voice core network, including CS Core, IMS, and signalling platforms.

• Develop technical specifications, HLDs, and DLDs for new implementations and features.

Capacity & Lifecycle Management:

• Manage platform capacity to support growth and perform timely hardware/software lifecycle refreshments

• Ensure platform software is secure and free from vulnerabilities

Project & Technical Leadership:

• Act as the technical lead for RFPs and projects related to the voice core

• Manage testing for new features, products, and POCs

Quality & Optimization:

• Monitor network KPIs and drive optimization initiatives to ensure high service quality and standards compliance.

What you need to have for this role:

• Bachelor Degree in engineering, networking or computer related field

• Minimum 3 years relevant working experience

Skills & Knowledge:

• Mobile network design and implementation knowledge and experience particularly in IMS, VoWiFi, MSS, STP, IMS, HLR, HSS

• Knowledge in Network signalling and routing

• Good Project management skills

• 3GPP and 3GPP2 standard evolution awareness and functional relations
