Degree Preferred: Associates Degree in Early Childhood
Degree Required: CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood
Additional Requirements Include: Pass physical examination, background check, and drug screen, and maintain required Physical/TB screen requirements
This is a full-time, seasonal position for a classroom operating August-May.

Child Focus Early Childhood program is seeking a full time Head Start Assistant Teacher
Primary Job Responsibilities: The Assistant Teacher will assist in implementing a research-based curriculum, engaging with children and helping them learn and grow. Other duties may include light cleaning, and setting up activities.
- Relate positively with young children and families
- Passionate about providing quality care and learning opportunities as well as a safe environment for young children
- Work cooperatively with other team members
- Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and grow.
- Love children and wish to work in a team-oriented environment
- Meet basic requirements of local child care regulatory agency
- Knowledge and interest of the social, emotional and creative needs of young children
- Have previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood program.
