POSITION SPECIFICS
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar under the direction of Dr. Jacqueline O'Connor.
Job Duties:
Researcher will lead analysis of fluid mechanic instability in turbulent flows using information theoretic analyses coupled with linear stability analysis.
Responsibilities will include development of analysis tools, data analysis, writing papers, presenting results, and reporting on results.
Researcher will be expected to work collaboratively with a team on this project.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Must have a PhD in mechanical or aerospace engineering and prior experience in research related to fluid mechanic instability and information network analysis.
