In this essential role, you'll coordinate schedules for our Hospice Aides, ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality care while supporting the day-to-day operations of our clinical team. What You'll Do

  • Coordinate and maintain daily schedules for Hospice Aides to ensure timely patient visits.
  • Manage same-day schedule changes, call-outs, and staffing adjustments with efficiency.
  • Communicate with Hospice Aides, nurses, clinical leadership, and office staff to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Monitor visit coverage and proactively resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and provide professional customer service to patients, families, and staff.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation within the EMR system.
  • Scan, file, and organize patient and employee documentation.
  • Assist with office supply inventory and administrative support as needed.
  • Ensure scheduling activities comply with agency policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Previous scheduling experience in hospice, home health, healthcare, or a medical office preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional, compassionate, and customer-focused approach.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); EMR experience is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
