Maintenance - Handyman

Black Bear Talent is seeking a dependable Handyman for a short-term assignment lasting approximately 3 to 4 weeks. This position is ideal for someone with general maintenance experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in completing projects safely and efficiently.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Duration: Approximately 3 to 4 weeks

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance and repair tasks.
• Complete basic carpentry, painting, patching, and drywall repairs.
• Assist with minor plumbing and electrical repairs as needed.
• Assemble and install fixtures, shelving, furniture, and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on doors, windows, locks, and other building components.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines and company policies.
• Complete additional maintenance tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous handyman, maintenance, or general construction experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, painting, plumbing, and general repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance are required.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
