Manufacturing Support & Parts Coordinator

We are seeking an Manufacturing Support & Parts Coordinator to join our Coraopolis, PA team to help keep manufacturing and remanufacturing projects moving. In this role, you will order and track parts, work with vendors and outside machine and fabrication shops, coordinate with engineering and the shop floor, and help find replacement options for older or hard to find components.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ordering parts to support manufacturing and remanufacturing projects
• Working closely with 3^rd party machine & fabrication shops to produce production parts
• Coordinating between engineering department and shop floor to keep production moving
• Tracking and managing ordered components from vendors to shop floor
• Parts research to replace antiquated components

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to read blueprints for machined components and fabrications
• Basic understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems (ability to read schematics for parts identification)
• Must be able to perform independently with minimal supervision on projects

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Some form of mechanical background (i.e. mechanic, machinist, parts sales, etc.) professionally or hobbyist
• 2D or 3D drafting experience
• Use of basic hand measuring tools for quality assurance (Calipers, micrometers, etc.)
