HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT
- Operate all types of traditional machine shop equipment as required to repair, maintain, and fabricate tooling, fixtures, and samples in support of manufacturing operations with a heavy emphasis on plastic injection molds.
- Maintain a safe working attitude, follow safety rules, and promotes a safe culture throughout the facility.
- Must work with little or no supervision.
- Read and interpret blueprint drawings.
- Fabricate parts with a high level of accuracy while holding tight tolerances.
- Perform tool repairs and preventative maintenance at regular intervals.
- Support design and fabrication of jigs and fixtures in support of manufacturing operations.
- Assemble and de-bug tools and fixtures for production area.
- You have a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
- You have five (5) years of experience in a Machine Shop environment.
- You have formal education or training in a related technical field.
- Have experience in plastic injection molding, mold maintenance/repair, and related manufacturing processes.
- Able to safely set-up and operate conventional vertical milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, vertical EDM and other shop related equipment.
- A competitive benefits package and a starting pay rate of $30.60/hour, plusa $0.40 shift premium for 2nd shift.
