What does the LOB do?: Regulatory compliance - particular domain is credit risk management and that is assessing borrowers for the level of risk their represent.
Reason the role is open? BAM team contingent worker to support NRDC project (OSFI-988)/increase in workload and support is needed.
What project will this contractor be working on? NRDC project (OSFI-988)
Team size: 20 people / fairly informal team with a lot of support if needed
Highlights of the role; why would someone choose this role over another?: Possibility of extension and this is regulatory and may be attractive for some people. A mix between business and some technical investigative work because of the possibility that they may have to run SQL queries.

Job Description:
The Senior Business Analyst will support key business initiatives by partnering with stakeholders to analyze requirements, facilitate discussions, and contribute to the successful delivery of strategic projects. This role requires an experienced professional who can work independently, engage with multiple stakeholder groups, and navigate complex organizational environments. The successful candidate will be expected to provide insights, support ongoing initiatives, and collaborate closely with business partners to ensure project objectives are achieved. Experience working within large enterprise organizations and managing competing priorities is essential. Previous exposure to technology-related projects and the ability to quickly adapt to evolving business needs will be considered strong assets.
Must Have Requirements:
· Good credit risk management knowledge (OSFI Deficiency to resolve, credit risk management)
· Understanding of credit risk data
· Good requirements gathering and documentation skills
· SQL skills
Nice to Have:
• Previous CIBC experience or experience in a financial institution.
• NRDC project (OSFI-988)
