Responsibilities
An Occupational Therapist (OT) helps patients develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for daily living and independence following illness, injury, surgery, or disability.
- Evaluates and treats physician-referred patients by organizing and conducting occupational therapy programs.
- Facilitates rehabilitation of the mentally or physically handicapped.
- Directs patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.
- Facilitates the learning of skills and functions essential for adaptation and productivity, and promotes and maintains health.
Requirements:
- NY State Occupational Therapy License and registration.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Organizational ability
Pay Range
USD $44.41 - USD $55.55 /Hr.Qualifications
