For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:
- 6 years of experience as an IT Developer / Software Engineer (Equity)
- Proficiency in C# (.NET) and Oracle/PL-SQL at an advanced level, covering development, optimization, and troubleshooting within a regulated financial environment.
- Demonstrated ability to customize, integrate, and troubleshoot Sophis (Front to Back) in close collaboration with business and trading system teams.
- Familiarity with equity derivatives workflows and financial regulations, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail, enabling accurate diagnosis and resolution of technical and functional issues in production environments.
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing actively to a small, cross-functional agile team, sharing knowledge and maintaining high delivery quality.
- Hands-on experience with Git, CLR, XLD, Azure DevOps and Jenkins
- Exposure to secondary technologies such as C++, Java, Python, PowerShell, or Power BI is a plus for extending team capabilities across reporting and automation tasks.
- Fluency in English (B2)
- Availability for Hybrid model, 2 times a week based in Porto
- Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
