ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Receive, inspect, and stock incoming materials and inventory.
· Verify incoming shipments against packing slips and report discrepancies.
· Maintain accurate inventory through routine cycle counts and inventory audits.
· Organize inventory locations and ensure all bins, racks, and shelves are properly labeled.
· Pull and stage materials for production as requested.
· Assist with loading and unloading deliveries using appropriate material handling equipment.
· Transport materials throughout the facility to support production needs.
· Maintain inventory transactions and records using the company's inventory management system.
· Investigate and report inventory discrepancies while helping identify root causes.
· Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and storage areas following 5S standards.
· Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Receiving, and Materials teams to ensure inventory availability.
· Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Materials Supervisor.
Requirements
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
· Excellent organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
· Strong communication skills with all levels of the organization.
· Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory management software.
· Ability to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
· Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
· Willingness to receive feedback and continuously improve processes.
Preferred:
· High school diploma or GED preferred.
· Previous warehouse, inventory control, or manufacturing experience preferred.
· Experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts preferred or ability to become certified.
· Experience using inventory management or ERP systems preferred.
· Basic math skills required.
· Experience using handheld scanners or barcode systems is a plus.
· Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, hoists, and other material handling equipment.
