Logan Health is looking for an Associate Accountant to join our Finance Team!
This position performs accounting functions and transactions for Logan Health (LH) and related entities. Supports the organization in fulfilling the mission, vision, and values of Logan Health.
Qualifications:
Experience in an accounting environment required.
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. CPA preferred.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed. Proficiency in Excel required. Meditech experience preferred.

Job Specific Duties:
Performs daily and month-end accounting functions as assigned. These include, but may not be limited to; preparing monthly billings, preparing journal entries, spreadsheets, and account reconciliations.
Maintains and ensures appropriate support documentation/records accompany entries and reconciliations to expedite review by internal staff, auditors and System Director of Finance. Performs statistical reporting as requested.
Exhibits proficiency in financial analysis, by identifying and reporting on significant variances.
Accurately performs assignments related to fixed assets, debt, bonds, investments, cash reconciliation, client billing, property taxes, budget preparation and audits.
Responsible for accurately and efficiently maintaining Fixed Assets and related subsidiary ledger.
Works closely with appropriate stakeholders to accurately and timely balance, manage debt/bond schedules, report and record company investments, reconcile, and perform analytical discrepancy reviews of bank accounts.
Cross trains and provides backup support for team members related to daily routines and monthly close processes.
Performs various accounting, financial, and/or administrative tasks as required.

Day Shift - 8 Hours (United States of America)Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
