- Monitor and influence standards relevant to low-voltage protection and control products, including miniature circuit breakers, semiconductor circuit breakers, air circuit breakers, moulded case circuit breakers, motor starters, low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies, and UK & Ireland wiring regulations.
- Provide strategic standards intelligence by identifying upcoming regulatory and standardization developments and assessing their potential impact on Eaton's products, technologies and market access.
- Identify relevant changes in standards, regulations and market requirements at an early stage, assess their technical and business impact, and communicate findings and recommendations to engineering, testing, product lines, product development, marketing, business development and sales teams.

- Build and maintain effective relationships with external standardization bodies, industry associations and internal stakeholders to ensure Eaton’s technical and business interests are appropriately represented.
- Monitor relevant European Union directives, such as the Low Voltage Directive and EMC Directive, as well as equivalent UK regulations and potential divergence between EU and UK requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on standardization activities, committee developments, risks, opportunities and required follow-up actions.
- Provide standardization expertise across the PMCC division and support internal decision-making on product compliance, application requirements and future technology trends.
- Prepare and deliver internal and external information sessions and trainings on protection concepts, standards updates and wiring regulation developments.
- Support market launch activities and contribute to technical documents, white papers and customer-facing materials, ensuring alignment with current standards and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to new product development projects by providing standards-related input and guidance on applicable requirements.
- Respond to technical standards inquiries and explain changes in standards in a clear and practical way to stakeholders without deep standardization expertise.
