  • Partner with legal leadership and practice areas to identify process challenges, prioritize improvement opportunities, and determine where new technology may add value.
  • Coordinate business cases, vendor assessments, pilot programs, implementation activities, and ongoing enhancements for legal tools and solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison amongst legal, IT, finance, procurement, vendors, and other partners to support effective planning and delivery.
  • Review legal workflows and recommend opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve processes through technology and operational changes.
  • Assess emerging legal tools, including AI-enabled capabilities, to determine their potential to improve efficiency, consistency, and service delivery.
  • Promote consistent processes, effective tool usage, and operational discipline across legal practice areas.
  • Support attorneys and staff through training, guidance, communications, and issue resolution related to legal systems and processes.
  • Develop user guides, job aids, and other resources to support implementation, engagement, and adoption.
  • Gather feedback from legal teams to identify enhancements and ensure processes and tools continue to meet departmental needs.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, legal studies, or related field or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable
  • 7 years of experience in legal operations, legal technology, corporate operations, or related support roles
  • Experience with legal technology platforms such as matter management, e-billing, CLM, workflow automation, or AI-enabled legal tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across diverse teams
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Skills/Education
  • Experience supporting legal technology at a large, matrixed organization
  • Familiarity with systems commonly used in corporate legal departments (e.g., CounselLink, Ironclad, Onit, iManage, ServiceNow Legal)
  • Process improvement experience (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies)
