About the Role
As our Programmatic Ad Ops Lead, you'll help us maximise the commercial value of our media inventory across digital and traditional channels. You'll combine advertising expertise, commercial thinking and strong analytical skills to understand what is driving performance, identify opportunities to optimise revenue and inventory utilisation, and turn complex data into clear recommendations and action.
You'll be a go-to expert on inventory yield and monetisation, working across teams to improve our existing portfolio while identifying opportunities to unlock incremental revenue.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll work at the intersection of media, data and commercial strategy, using performance insights to influence how we price, plan and monetise advertising inventory.
- Own yield, pricing and revenue optimisation across channels, using inventory, demand and campaign performance to identify opportunities that improve revenue and advertiser returns.
- Analyse traffic, sell-through, inventory capacity, pricing and key advertising metrics such as CPM and CTR, translating trends into clear commercial recommendations.
- Provide inventory and revenue forecasts, identifying future capacity, opportunities and risks and supporting annual and longer-term planning.
- Build a strong understanding of digital advertising and ad-serving dynamics, including targeting, frequency, placement, delivery and auctions, and use this knowledge to strengthen monetization.
- Partner across Sales, Product and other teams to improve our advertising portfolio, while using AI and automation to streamline recurring reporting and make insights easier to access.
What We're Looking For
You'll bring a strong combination of advertising knowledge, analytical thinking and commercial curiosity, with the confidence to turn insights into recommendations.
-
Proven experience in yield management, inventory optimisation, programmatic advertising or ad monetisation within a media owner, publisher, retail media, AdTech or comparable advertising environment.
- Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including ad networks, ad exchanges, DSPs, SSPs, publishers and ad serving.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills, with experience in sales analysis, forecasting, modelling and financial or commercial analysis.
- Experience working with advertising sales and cross-functional teams, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate complex findings clearly.
- Experience with Google Ad Manager or similar platforms; familiarity with tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, MySQL, CitrusAd or Criteo is beneficial.
