Job Description
About the role:
Tech Transfer & Program Management. Regional scope covers high-priority commercial and late-stage technology transfers, lifecycle projects, launch readiness, manufacturing network initiatives, and major MSAT programs. Provides regional governance, prioritization, execution oversight, capacity planning, and mentorship; direct line-management responsibility is not specified. Cross-region trade-offs and resource conflicts escalate to the Head of TT&PM.
- Establishment, tracking, and oversite of the Asia TT portfolio
- Standardization and harmonization of TT systems, standards, and best practices network-wide
- Ensure 100% on-time schedule adherence and 15% YoY TT timeline reduction
How you will contribute:
- Run regional tech transfer governance where Global MSAT is needed or involved, within the standard model set by TT Standardization & Program Excellence, ensuring consistent decisions and oversight and escalating beyond regional scope to enterprise/portfolio governance
- Lead and prioritize the regional portfolio of high-priority commercial and late-stage transfers, lifecycle projects, launch readiness, and major MSAT initiatives according to business value, patient impact, supply risk, and capacity; escalate cross-region trade-offs to the Head of TT&PM
- Ensure consistent on-time Tech Transfer Plans, Tech Transfer Protocols, readiness reviews, governance updates, risk registers, and related documentation to TT Standardization & Program Excellence definitions
- Monitor milestones, critical paths, dependencies, risks, decision points, and resourcing, varying oversight by project risk and business criticality
- Lead, coach, and guide Asia TT&PM team members, role modelling project discipline, communication, stakeholder management, escalation, and delivery performance consistent with standard program-management practices
- Provide clear status updates, executive summaries, decision requests, and escalation pathways to senior leaders and cross-functional partners
- Forecast regional capacity, identify resource conflicts, and manage regional workload, escalating cross-region conflicts to the Head of TT&PM using the integrated portfolio view
- Deploy and drive adherence to standard tools, templates, playbooks, governance cadences, and reporting mechanisms; channel improvements back to TT Standardization rather than creating regional variants
- Support digital tools, data visibility, knowledge management, and reporting that improve transfer predictability and proactive risk management
- Drive delivery through influence across CMC, MSAT, sites, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Development, and external partners, and foster accountability, transparency, continuous improvement, collaboration, and trust
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, pharmaceutical science, biotechnology, chemistry, biology, or a related scientific/technical discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing, MSAT, CMC, process development, technology transfer, program management, quality, supply chain, or related technical functions.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional technology transfer or strategic manufacturing programs in a regulated/GMP environment.
- Experience guiding junior team members; ability to coach, develop, and align diverse technical and program management talent.
- Strong portfolio governance, risk management, dependency management, escalation management, and executive communication capability.
- Ability to simplify complex technical and organizational issues into clear decisions, actions, and priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management across sites, regional teams, global functions, and external partners.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and building scalable ways of working across geographies and modalities.
