About the Role

McKesson is seeking an Accounting & Finance Intern to support the Finance team with financial analysis, reporting and process improvement initiatives.

This internship provides an opportunity to apply your business, accounting and finance knowledge in a practical environment while building hands-on experience with Excel, financial data analysis, reporting and basic financial modelling.

You’ll work with financial and operational data, prepare insights for internal stakeholders and contribute to initiatives designed to improve and automate Finance processes.

What You’ll Do

• Support accounting and finance analysis through data collection, validation and reporting.
• Build, organise and maintain Excel datasets used to support financial and operational decision-making.
• Assist with basic financial analysis, modelling and trend analysis.
• Prepare financial summaries, reports and presentation materials for internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to Finance process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Provide ad hoc accounting and finance support as required.

Basic Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s programme in Management, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Experience with Python or data analytics.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage assigned work effectively.
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.

$17.69 - $22.21
