Experience: Minimum 4 years in Jewellery Accounting
Exposure in Diamond industry preferably (BDB or Seepz)
Job Summary
Grown Diamond India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant with a strong background in the Jewellery / Diamond industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally, Jewellery ERP, Jewellery Stock Accounting, Inventory Reconciliation, and day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally Prime / ERP (Diamtrade preferred).
- Maintain and reconcile jewellery stock records, including inward, outward, and inventory movements.
- Perform stock verification and stock-account reconciliation.
- Record purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and journal entries.
- Prepare and reconcile vendor and customer ledgers.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and monitor financial transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of gold, diamond, and jewellery inventory transactions.
- Handle GST-related accounting entries and documentation.
- Prepare MIS reports, outstanding reports, and stock reports.
- Coordinate with internal departments for inventory and accounting data.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of financial and inventory records.
- Assist in month-end and year-end accounting closures.
Candidate Profile
- B.Com / M.Com
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the Jewellery or Diamond Industry
- Strong experience in Tally Prime / ERP (Diamtrade preferred)
- Hands-on experience in Jewellery Stock Accounting and Inventory Reconciliation
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and banking transactions
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to the Diamond Industry, preferably BDB or SEEPZ
- Knowledge of ERP software ( Diamtrade ERP preferred)
- Gold & Diamond Inventory Accounting
- Stock Reconciliation & Stock Audits
