Audit Manager

Audit Manager - Atlanta, GA

A growing CPA firm south of Atlanta is hiring an Audit Manager to lead audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion. You'll review workpapers and financial statements, evaluate internal controls, and resolve complex accounting and auditing issues. You'll also manage engagement budgets and deadlines, coach and develop staff and senior auditors, and serve as a trusted contact for clients. The role includes helping grow the practice by spotting new audit opportunities with current and prospective clients.

Must-haves:

• CPA
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of public accounting audit experience
• Experience managing audit engagements and supervising staff
• Strong knowledge of GAAS, GAAP, risk assessment, and internal controls

• Master's degree in Accounting or Tax
• Engagement Manager experience
