Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to Allied Universal guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including operational areas, entry points, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, assisting with visitor processing, and reporting unusual or suspicious activity to site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
• Support daily operations at a technology-focused location by observing facility conditions, communicating clearly with site personnel, and following post orders related to shipping, receiving, and/or high-traffic work areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
